this is great. the general composition leaves little to improve. the only thing i can think of is the light. it has a tendency to be a little gloomy, but not enough to take down the overall impression! =)

to me it looks like a piece of armor

That's pretty nice.. I appreciate the fact that it's a nice break from the typical 3d abstract. The large main shape is really nice and organic.. and it kinda looks like a skull or something. ^_^;
